About the Zine
Revolutionary Guardians is an unofficial fan collaboration art + short fiction book inspired by Fire Emblem Three Houses, and our favorite magical girl media. The book will mainly feature illustrations and comics, with a handful of stories, meta writing, and alternative content, interest permitting. Revolutionary Guardians will explore the magic-using characters from Fire Emblem Three Houses reimagined as characters from magical girl media. We are looking to feature content inspired by other series such as Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Madoka Magica etc, as well as storytelling that takes place in imagined alternate-universe Fódlan magical girlverse canon.
Revolutionary Guardians is an A4 fanthology featuring approximately 40 page illustrations and 5-7 works of fiction, accompanied by approximately 8-10 merch items not including any potential stretch goals. We are ship-neutral and safe-for-work, however we do ask participants are aged 18 or older.
